Genuine Merrill NL-6 hose adapter. This adapter is made of nylon. The middle of the adaptor is hexed, which allows you to hook a wrench to it to insure it is secured to the spout of the hydrant. The NL-6 allows you to thread a hose onto a pipe threaded spout. It is designed for the Merrill CNL1000 Yard Hydrant.
